Cast hand stretch film unwinds quietly, maintains a consistent gauge, and stretches more easily by hand, making it ideal for everyday pallet wrapping. Blown stretch film offers higher puncture and tear resistance, making it better suited for loads with sharp corners, heavy items, or irregular shapes that require extra protection during transit.

Hand stretch film is available in gauges from 47 ga to 115 ga, including 47, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, and 115 gauge. Lighter gauges work for standard loads, while heavier gauges like 90 to 115 ga provide greater puncture resistance and load-holding force for dense or irregularly shaped pallets.

Standard widths for hand stretch film are 12 inches, 15 inches, 18 inches, and 20 inches. The 18-inch and 20-inch widths are the most common for full pallet wrapping. The 12-inch width is ideal for bundling cases and smaller loads, offering versatility for shipping room and warehouse applications.

Extended core stretch film features a longer core that allows operators to grip and wrap pallets using both hands without a separate dispenser. This ergonomic design reduces hand fatigue during extended wrapping tasks. It is available in 18-inch and 20-inch widths and is suitable for distribution facilities, warehouses, and 3PL operations.

Colored stretch film is used for inventory color-coding, load identification, and security marking across warehouses and distribution centers. Available colors include red, blue, black, white, and yellow, allowing teams to visually differentiate shipments by customer, destination, priority, or handling requirement without additional labeling or tagging systems.

Bundling stretch film is a narrow-width stretch film, typically 12 inches wide, designed to unitize cases, group products together, or secure irregular loads that are too small for standard pallet wrap. It is used in distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and shipping rooms for case bundling and product consolidation before final palletization.
